Are you interested in Reptiles?

Are you interested in meeting with like-minded people?

We are a group in the South West of England with an interest in reptiles. We hold meetings and activities several times a year, and can put you in touch with reptile professionals for friendly advice. We also have contact with professional breeders for additions to your collection.

We are going through a difficult time at the moment with low membership and have reduced our meetings/activities to 4 a year.

In view of this we are offering free membership entitling you to attend our meetings and events and receive our email newsletter.

Our upcoming reptile related events:

  • Dawlish Carnival
    1. Held on: Sunday, tbc (August 2013)
    2. Held at: The Lawn, Dawlish

    We support Dawlish Carnival in an aim to educate and share our interest in reptiles with others. Doors open at noon, close at 4pm. Our reptiles are available for touching, handling or just display.If any member wishes to bring along their reptiles to this event to help the carnival please contact Chris our Chairman

  • South West Herps AGM
    1. Held on: Sunday, 17th February 2013
    2. Held at: Bishopsteignton Community Centre

    South West Herps Society – AGM;Sunday February 2013 @ 2.30 pm @ Bishopsteignton Community Centre.We would be pleased if you could attend our AGM as we need support especially in “the future of the Society” discussions. Please can you let me know if you are able to attend or not. If you need directions to the Community Centre please let me know also. Agenda and Minutes of Last AGM available upon request.If you have any point you would like discussing then please let me know and we will add this to the meeting.

  • Shaldon Zoo Displays

    We help Shaldon Zoo on their Fun Days in an aim to educate and share our interest in reptiles with others. We will be attending from 11am till 3pm. Our reptiles are available for touching, handling or just display. If any member wishes to bring along their reptiles to this event to help the zoo please contact Chris our Chairman
